    8. Vandalism - breaking of school property

Admission
  • All the above termed "minor offences" are punishable by reprimand - performing of tasks like cleaning the premises, or any form of manual labour to suit the offence and aim being a corrective measure. Parents should be consulted on offences becoming habitual.

  • All the above and other offences deemed " major offences are punishable and subject to the verdict to be given by members of the school disciplinary committee and / or governing body where it is necessary. In cases of breaking school property , theft of books, clothing, money etc the parent or the care giver shall be liable for repair and /or replacement of item(s) Failure to adhere to the above constitutes a forum 's meeting i.e. SGB or even suspension if need be.
 

Language Policy

  • The language policy of Isiseko Primary School has been drafted by the school 's SGB in consultation with the parents . It is reviewed yearly.
  • The language of learning shall be English - This is to accommodate our country's diverse language communities and facilitate the maximum participation of learners in the learning process.
  • Learners shall be allowed to use their language of choice as their other official language.
Religious Policy
  • No learners shall be discriminated against on the basis of their religious beliefs.
Safety Policy
  • The school gate shall remain locked for the duration of the school day, i.e. from 8h00 to 13h45 p.m.
  • Only parents / caregivers with urgent matters / issues shall be allowed into the school premises during the duration of the school day.
  • The grounds man shall be responsible for amongst other duties the monitoring of the school gate.
